Selling Photos?

I'm going to New Zealand!!  July 26, 2007 I've been chosen to participate in a program called International Student Volunteers to work with endangered species and fragile ecosystems.  I'm desperately trying to raise enough money to go (almost $5,000 =S )  because it would be the opportunity of a life time.  I'm hoping that i might be able to add a little bit to that by selling some of my photos, but I have some worries.  How exactly do I go about doing that?  Would people actually buy them?  if you have any advice or feedback that would be sooo appreciated!!  thanks =)

Published Photographer! ^_^

Yes that's right!  my photograph Remember Me http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/35481536/?qo=63&q=by%3Abehindcloseddoors+sort%3Atime+-in%3Ascraps  is going to be published in a photo anthology.  I entered it into a contest online a while ago and hadn't heard anything until I got home from Maryland the other day and there was a letter waiting for me!  I'm not sure how they choose the pictures or if they just put all the submissions into this book to try and get you to buy it, but I'm still pretty excited!
